Storm’s early career saw her competing across various promotions, including Progress Wrestling and World Wonder Ring Stardom in Japan.Her tenure in Stardom was particularly notable, where she secured the prestigious World of Stardom Championship.In 2017, she gained further recognition by entering WWE’s inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament, leading to her signing with NXT UK. Storm would win the second Mae Young Classic when she defeated Io Shirai at WWE Evolution.

She participated in a tournament to crown the inaugural NXT UK Women’s Champion, but lost against Rhea Ripley in the finals.
