Green fell in love with wrestling when she saw Kelly Kelly and after Googling “how to be a WWE Diva” she saw an advert for Lance Storm’s Wrestling Academy and began training. In 2014, she hit the independent circuit and honed her skills in ECCW.

The following year, she participated in WWE’s Tough Enough VI, finishing in fourth place among the female contestants.

In 2016, Green gained prominence in Impact Wrestling under the ring name Laurel Van Ness, where she developed the “Hot Mess” character that made her standout talent. Her tenure was highlighted by winning the Impact Knockouts Championship.

In 2018, Green appeared in the fourth and final season of Lucha Underground as Reklusa, before appearing at the historic All In event. That same year Green attended WWE tryouts and secured a developmental contract.

In July 2023, she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Sonya Deville. Following Deville’s injury, Piper Niven became her new tag team partner.

In December 2024, Green made history by becoming the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion after defeating Michin in the tournament finals at Saturday Night’s Main Event. This achievement marked her first singles championship in WWE.
